Cabinet Beetle

$35.00

Made for the drawer-and-label kind of collector, now working out of a pocket.

Size

Design: Cabinet Beetle

About this design

A beetle lifted from an antique specimen plate, pinned in ink instead of glass.

The tin

  • One push open, one push shut. Sharp enough to hear across a counter
  • Interior strap keeps folded bills seated
  • Epoxy resin over the print, so the art does not scratch off
  • RFID-blocking shell — your cards stay unreadable in your pocket

What fits inside

Six to eight cards, folded cash, your ID, and whatever else has quietly ended up in there.

Two sizes

  • Standard — 4.0 × 2.2 × 0.7 in
  • Large — 4.1 × 2.7 × 0.7 in, half an inch wider

A wallet that gets asked about.

Why a tin

A wallet that gets asked about.

Most cardholders are a folded slab of leather with a logo pressed into it. This is a chrome clamshell with the art set behind the frame — a smoking skull, an arsenic label from a pharmacy that shut a century ago, a black cat running the absinthe hour. Forty-four of them, and no two people carry the same one.
